What was your favorite part of taking dance lessons for the wedding?
The time my fiance and I got to spend with one another for one hour, once a week to do something other than worry about work or planning a wedding. It was where we could let loose, have fun, and not think about anything but each other.
How did you feel before, during and after your first dance on your wedding day?
Before: I felt nervous that I would trip on my dress or that my husband would step on my toes. During: Never felt happier! ...A rush of emotions all at once! Nothing like having 300+ eyes on your for an entire song. After: NAILED IT! Proud, relieved, and excited for more dancing!
What advice can you give couples who are preparing for their first dance?
A: Let the professionals do the work, relax and have fun! Don't be worried to try something "out of the box" with your dancing partner, you might be surprised with what you can do if you just let go! You may even be able to master a lift!
